'Green Sakthi,' has evolved into significant size, creating large impact not only around Thirumalaikodi, but also in many villages in other districts of Tamilnadu, with support from the Govt - Department of Forests. Earlier this year, Sri Sakthi Amma initiated Panchayats in Vellore and Thiruvannamalai districts, empowering over 1638 Panchayats to plant saplings in their villages. Each of the panchayat was provided with 500 fruit bearing saplings, leading to the planting of over 6,00,000 saplings within this year in these districts. Amma has renamed the projects 'SAAP' & 'SAGAR' as 'Green Sakthi'. Sripuram, Sri Narayani Peedam donated all the saplings, which were grown at the in-house nursery to ensure the consistency in quality, leading to a better success rate.
