As part of AMMA’s commitment to uplift the underprivileged in society, a Tribal Community and Assistance Programme has been providing assistance to the tribal communities living in the nearby district of Thiruvannamalai for many years. Free medical camps are conducted for these small and isolated communities on a regular basis, as well as programme to distribute free educational supplies and essential items such as blankets and raincoats to school children and families. Free computer centres are also established in these rural areas, in order o provide computer access and training, enhancing the educational and career prospects of the villagers who would otherwise be at a great disadvantage.
