One lady, who constantly questioned the Divine form, was asked to close her eyes and when she opened her eyes, had a divine vision of the splendid form of Goddess Narayani with Her consort, the majestic Lion. The divine form in a divine voice vowed, “Whenever Dharma declines and Adharma rises, I take birth in the world. Now I am born here as Narayani. My Name is Sakthi Amma."

Many miracles continued to be witnessed, drawing several hundreds of devotees each day to receive Amma's Darshan (Blessings), Prasadham (Offerings), Kumkum (Vermilion Powder), Vibuthi (Sacred Ash), Fruits and Flowers, to get remedies for their ailments and problems. As the congregation grew, the institution known as Sri Narayani Peedam (the seat of the Goddess) was established, to serve the needs of the society and to create peace and harmony in the world.
