Sri Sakthi AMMA had established Om Sakthi Narayani Siddar Peedam Charitable Trust, popularly regarded as Sri Narayani Peedam in the year 1992 with a mission to revive righteousness and establish peace and harmony in this world.
The trust is a non-for-profit, non-governmental organisation working towards creating universal brotherhood by alleviating the differences created by caste, religion, creed, race, wealth and profession.
Sri Sakthi AMMA conducts numerous Poojas and Yagams for the welfare of humanity, and enable humans to lead a righteous and spiritual life. People from all walks of life attend Amma's poojas / prayers and partake in the service initiatives of the trust.
Sri Sakthi Amma has engaged over 5,000 volunteers from different parts of India to serve the needy through various related initiatives in the semi-urban and rural areas. In sync with the mission Sri Sakthi Amma has initiated numerous charitable activities to uplift the poor and needy, in order to create balance in the society. These charitable projects spans across; Education (Vidya nethram), Healthcare through outreach camps and services (Arogya), Dhanam (Vastra Dhanam, Old Age Pension), Anna dhanam (Free Food Distribution), Rehabilitation of prisoners’ families, (Punarjanma), Womens’ welfare (SAMMM), ZERO WASTE MANAGEMENT, Environmental conservation through planting of saplings and protection drives (Green Sakthi), Protection and care for Cows (Gho Samrakshana & Ghoshala), emphasis on revival of Arts, Culture and the rich Heritage (Sri Narayani Kala Peedam), Distribution of Water for rural areas during summer seasons (Matruganga), Tribal Welfare, Mass Marriages (Kalyani) and revival of ancient temples (Jyothi Swaroopini).
If we surrender then we are always at peace, and whether we get what we want or not, (or even whether we are happy or not) doesn't matter. This is becausewe accept everything that occurs happens for the best.
